I bookmarked this tutorial by Ayumi at the Pink Penguin to make some cute fabric baskets quite a while ago now and decided to try it this week:
This one is for Lee - she has a ipod/phone pouch made out of some of these fabrics so I though I'd make her a fabric basket to match.
And this is the next one - the original pattern calls for 2 inch squares but these are slightly larger at 2 1/4 inch (leftover fom the DS Scottie Dog) so I am hoping the basket will be a bit bigger too. I am using denim rather than linen for the base too as it looked good with the DS fabrics.

I've made some of those baskets. They are great.
i love Ayumi's tutorials. Your baskets are great and I really like the fabrics on the second one. Your choice of denim is spot on.
