Colourful Grannys - part 2

I worked on a sewing project last week, but as it is for a secret swap, I can't share any pics as yet.
One thing I can show is the completed top for the sewing machine cover that I am making out of A Stitch In Color fabric.
I have joined the blocks together with grey sashing and I really love these how these fabrics look with grey!

Oooh! Lovely! I'm thinking of doing some Granny sewing soon!

Your granny square quilt is lovely, it's such an effective design.

Deborah

Beautiful! I love the grey with your fabric.

Those fabrics do look lovely with gray! Will make a lovely sewing machine cover.

Your granny quilt is one of the best use of this fabric I've seen. They are really highlighted without being overwhelming and the gray is a perfect balance to the rich color.

You're right, the gray fabric looks great! I love that last picture with the light coming through the blocks.

Oh my goodness, how pretty! I envy you for having the quilt basted, that's the next step I have to do with 3 of my finished tops and just can't get to it! :))) One of these days I'll get over myself... :D
