"Bear Ridge" quilt

Earlier this year, Jackie Gillies of Keep Safe quilts organised a Virtual Charity Sew-In where participants could sew blocks to donate for charity quilts.
For those who wanted to sew blocks using a pattern, the Genny and Ruth pattern was suggested as an option.
These blocks sew up to 20" square each so I made 4 of them to make a 40x40" quilt.
I used some fabrics from my stash in oranges, blues and greys and have named it "Bear Ridge" after one of the prints.
This quilt will be donated to Keepsafe quilts and hopefully bring a little cheer to a child.
This project was on my FAL Q2 list for this year so linking up with the 2017 FAL team.

  1. Lovely Kirsten! The bear print is perfect for a child, and the blue/orange colour palette can suit either a girl or a boy! Nice finish!
