I am still in the process of quilting the mini for the Down Under Doll Quilt Swap (DUDQS) and realised that I hadn't posted a pic of the mini quilt top.
I have used the Retro Flower pattern from The Sometimes Crafter for this - a variation on the drunkards path block which is really quite versatile. I used some template plastic which I found at Spotlight to cut out my templates for the fabric. It was my first time sewing curves but wasn't as tricky as I thought it would be.
I also made a trip to the Post office the other day to send off a bunch of parcels that have been packaged up ready to send for a while now.

Ah those dreaded customs forms! Your mini quilt looks great! Are you machine or hand quilting?
Very very cute. Love the retro flowers.
Very cute retro flowers!
It's very pretty!
Love the multi coloured flower :o) I made a 9 flower one for my mum, but wanted a bigger sized one for me, so got my bee to make them for me ;o)
Love the retro flower, what great fabrics!
Hurrah for learning a new skill! I love that block and yours is picture perfect!
Fun flower! I did the quilt along, and felt so proud of myself when I got the top finished! Feels great to learn something new, doesn't it?
